פרופ' משה בן סימון
קורות חיים
משה בן סימון הוא פרופסור במחלקה לקרימינולוגיה ועמד בראש התוכנית לקרימינולוגיה שיקומית לתואר שני שנים רבות. נוסף על כך, פרופ' בן סימון מלמד בתוכנית לתרפיה במוזיקה ובתוכנית לטיפול באמצעות אמנות חזותית באוניברסיטת בר-אילן. פרופ' בן סימון מלמד במחלקה לקרימינולוגיה מאז שנת 2000. הוא סיים את עבודת הדוקטורט במחלקה לקרימינולוגיה בשנת 2005 בנושא: "טיפול באמצעות מוזיקה לפגועי פוסט-טראומה במסגרת קבוצתית" ובשנת 2011 סיים פוסט-דוקטורט בבית הספר לעבודה סוציאלית של אוניברסיטת תל-אביב. במקביל ללימודי הקרימינולוגיה, למד פרופ' בן סימון בתוכנית לתרפיה במוזיקה באוניברסיטת בר-אילן, שם הוא מלמד שנים רבות.
בהיותו קרימינולוג, ויקטימולוג ותרפיסט במוזיקה, פרופ' בן סימון משלב במחקריו בין תחומים אלו. הוא פרסם עד היום מעל ל-50 מאמרים ופרקים בספרים העוסקים בקשר שבין מוזיקה ותוקפנות, מוזיקה בחיי אסירים ותרפיה במוזיקה עם אסירים ואסירים לשעבר. בשנים האחרונות מתמקד פרופ' בן סימון באופנים בהם תרפיה במוזיקה עשויה לסייע לקורבנות טראומה. מחקריו בתחום עוסקים בטיפול קבוצתי במוזיקה לחיילים הלומי קרב, לנשים נפגעות תקיפה מינית וכן לילדים ומתבגרים המתגוררים בעוטף עזה. מחקריו עוסקים גם באופן שבו תרפיה במוזיקה יכולה למלא צרכים התייחסותיים (Relational needs) וליצור אינטגרציה נפשית וגופנית עבור נפגעי טראומה.
