Welcome to the Criminology Department

The Department of Criminology at Bar-Ilan University was founded in 1961. The program was expanded in 1977 making it possible to study Criminology as either a major or a minor discipline towards a B.A. degree. Today the Department also offers 4 M.A programs (Research,  Clinical, Theoretical and Social - Rehabilitation) and a Doctoral (Ph.D.) program. The department is staffed by a multidisciplinary team of lecturers from a diversity of fields:Criminology, Psychology, Sociology, Psychiatry and Law.
